Farm
San Antonio, Tarrazú (Santa María, Dota)
Franklin Castillo has been harvesting coffee for more than 40 years in the area of Tarrazú. He grew up in the middle of the coffee farms and also learned the tradition of his family.
He sees coffee as a way of living and he loves seeing the coffee trees dressed with flowers during March-April (blooming season). You can see Franklin planting fruit trees to avoid the use of nematicides or other harmful chemicals, taking long walks in nature, and drinking up to 5 cups of coffee per day.
The Berry Velvet is his favorite and he says “it tastes sour and fruity on the palate and has a rich flavor that leaves me with what I need to start the day, I couldn’t imagine my days without coffee”.

Eco-friendly Packaging
Our coffee now comes in fully compostable bags with removable, non-compostable stickers, paired with eco-friendly seed-paper carrying bags or kraft boxes for deliveries.
Compostable materials break down into non-toxic natural components, leaving no harmful residue.
In industrial composting facilities, they transform into compost that enriches the soil. Even in natural environments, they disappear much faster than conventional plastic.
Every element is designed to reduce waste and support a greener future in coffee.
Simply plant the seed-paper packaging in soil, water it, and watch as wildflowers bloom in its place.

Bean to Cup
A great cup begins with a seed. After two years of growth, our farmers handpick each cherry at its ripest.
The cherries are then sorted and processed using one of these traditional methods:
Washed – the fruit is fully removed and the beans are cleaned, producing a bright, clean cup.
Honey – some of the fruit (mucilage) is left on, adding sweetness and complexity.
Natural – the cherries are dried whole, enhancing body and rich, fruity notes.
Once processed, the beans are sun-dried, rested, and milled. Finally, they’re roasted to highlight their distinct flavors—ready for you to grind, brew, and enjoy.
From our farms to your cup, this is coffee crafted with patience, passion, and purpose.
