Manual coffee brewing is a great way to spend your time on the things you love, and this brewing method is the first one for filtered coffee designed and made in Costa Rica.

Handcrafted by the Costa Rican artisan "Don Mainor," the Vandola is made with thick walls of clay which preserve the temperature of the drink and uses a normal Chemex paper filter for a balanced and clean cup.

Each Vandola takes about a month to be made and is unique in its style. These specific pieces were damaged during their journey by air, but we chose to honor their story rather than let them go to waste. Using the Kintsugi technique, we have hand-repaired every fracture, transforming the breaks into a permanent part of the design.
